Valves: PEN4VA,
KT31, PEN45, EBL1.
 
| Shown above is Mullard PEN4VA. It is an
early output valve with distinctive balloon shape. At 140mm height
it has a 4v heater and 3.8w output with B7 base. |

Shown above is a Marconi Osram KT31. This
less common valve has a 26v heater and a B7 base. It is a large
valve at 158mm and delivered 2.5w output. |
 
| Shown above is a Mazda PEN45, using the Mazda
Octal base. It has a height of 110mm with 4v heater, and could
deliver 4.5w. |

Shown above is a Mullard EBL1 with P Type or CT8
base. With 6.3v heater is delivered 4.3w. Envelope also
contains two diodes. |
